I just sat down and started making my plans for 2010 as I always do in the late fall. But this time I discovered a new way to do it and I knew I had to share it with you. I moved cross country this year and settling in a new home has led me to question every choice I make - the reasons I'm doing it and the reasons I want to continue to do it. And I brought that conscious evaluation into the creation of my own Magnetic Marketing Plan for 2010. Not only did this process stimulate new ideas, but I got clear about what I wanted to learn and what I didn't want to do after all. It helped me make plans for an exciting, satisfying and rewarding new year. And I want to share how I did it with you.

How did your year go? Was it all you wanted it to be? Are there some things that you want to change? Of course there are. Not everything worked this year did it? And other things were wildly successful and of course you'd like to have more of that. If you want more of the good stuff you've gotta have a plan. That doesn't take long to do but it requires some thought. You have to sit down and think about your business and how you want your life to look and feel next year. Then you make choices and create your Magnetic Marketing Plan.

I'm Your Idea Organizer, so I'm good at sorting out the great ideas from the good ideas and I'm also skilled at helping you organize your action steps so you can produce the results you want. Build Your Own Magnetic Marketing Plan for 2010

Week 1: There are a zillion ways to help people find you. Whether it's online, off line, or in person, we'll look over the myriad of inexpensive, innovative, effective ways to attract the people you are meant to serve and choose the ones that you love to do and do best.

In week 1 we will:

  • Explore your strengths and make certain you align your business with your passion as you move forward into the New Year.
  • Look carefully at what worked and didn't work this past year and make room for more of the good stuff.
  • Choose your most exciting and effective marketing strategies and discover what you need to know to make them bigger and better in 2010
  • Decide what skills you want to learn in 2010 and where to do it.
  • Examine how the needs of your community of followers have changed and what that means to your marketing plan
  • Brainstorm what new products or services you can create
  • Define the practical steps it will take to make them happen

Homework:

  • Use the Magnetic Marketing Method Idea Development Worksheet to see what's in your heart.
  • Weigh and measure your ideas against your passion and talent.
